This is a picture of the OR team departing from our hotel to the airport. All 9, including some of the docs and OR staff along with Sandy Konyu and driver piled into the van. The remaining crew of 4 docs, 1 nurse practitioner, 15 nurses, 1 pharmacist, 1 bio-med engineer and 2 volunteers remain until tomorrow evening. Then we leave a skeleton crew of 5 nurses and 1 nurse practitioner to take care of the remaining 8 patients and help with their discharges. We do have one patient that is having a harder time and had to be readmitted to the King Faisal ICU (as we have closed ours), we all hope and pray that she will improve and be able to return home as healthy as our other patients have been.
